If you have Media Player 10 and you think you might upgrade to 11, don't
unless you have a really fast, high end computer. Media Player 10 is the
default media player for XP, but it is not available in Vista unless you do
a Google search or something. The Softonic site is really nice for doing
downloads like these.
Just think about it... none of these problems in this newsgroup would happen
if people just stuck with Player 10.
Even though the Media Player 11 has nice, black new Windows Vista looks, it
isn't as functional as 10 and not as reliable.
But, again, if you want to upgrade and you think you have a fast enough
computer go ahead.
But remember the fact that Microsoft did not put Media Player 11 in the
Windows Update site under mandatory updates OR optional updates.
Bye.
