Hello,
Yesterday i went to play a wmv file in WMP 11 and there was audio, but no
video. No type of video file works correctly now, only playing audio. And i
do have the show video option selected. Also, the enhancements menu is blank
when it comes up, which means i can't change color, graphic equalizer, etc. I
've tryed other sources for help but so far nothing works. I have tried to
roll back to wmp 10 to reinstall wmp 11 but i have to roll back to 9 beacuse
it says that 10 is incompatible with windows. I've reinstalled it now about
three times and it still does not work, and shen i was rolled back wmp 9 had
the same problems. I have had WMP 11 since it was released, and no problems
until now.
I am running Windows XP Home SP3.

What video card do you have?
Is mplayer2.exe still able to produce sound?

The WMP10 installer should never be installed onto a system with the
WMFSDK11 still installed - you still had that installed and so the WMP10
installer correctly stopped before it did something bad.
