One thing I like about WinAmp is that when I jump to another position
while I'm playing an mp3, that the song is played seamlessly. But in
WMP, the play suddenly stops and starts again at the designated
position, so I can notice the gap. Is there any way to get the
WinAmp's smooth seeking effect on WMP? Thank you.

There is a Crossfade option available in the Ehnancements section
under Now Playing tab - but I'm not sure it works for seeking, though
it does when a track ends and another one starts.

Worth a try though - I don't have the Vista PC on right now to test it
