Problem with WMP11 Library

My Library in WMP11 is blank, having checked all files are still in the
appropriate place, and can be played by using the file and open facility.

Tried ripping a new CD as a test had to search for CD info but would not
update, CD saved into My Music as unknown CD, but not displayed in Library

Tried to restore to a previous point when I knew all was well it made no
difference

Then rolled back to version 9 all well it searched and found all media in My
Music folder. All appeared to work in version 9.

so updated to version 11 and had the same problem library blank does not
find any file even when directed to a folder, will also not sync to my MP3
does not even see it.
