Help: WMP11 won't stream

I have the WMP11 installed but yesterday it started to refuse to stream videos.
Today I found that the network option under preferences doesn't work, so I
can't check if the network is set properly.

Now the WMP11 works fine with files but it just won't stream and I think the
missing network option might be the problem, so how will I get that back?

Can anyone help me get the stream option back? :)
I really miss it.

I have tried back rolling to WMP9 and back, that didn't do the trick.

I running WMP11 for XP with latest updates.

Reset your networking settings:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940029
and you should be good to go. =)
