Hi,

I have problems on playing dvd in wmp. Before powerdvd installed, my wmp
10 can play dvd (which install the require decoder). After installing
powerdvd, wmp10 suddenly can't play, error msg:

"Windows Media Player cannot play DVD video. You might need to adjust your
Windows display settings. Open display settings in Control Panel, and then
try lowering your screen resolution and color quality settings."

When i try to un-install powerdvd, wmp10 still can't play dvd. Do anyone
encounter same problems? Any solution suggest?

Here's my config:

OS: WinXP
Software: WMP 10

Thanks for help~

Does the DecCheck program think you have any DVD decoders installed ?

If so, you might be able to adjust priority and set one of the WMP
compatible ones to the active decoder.
