I have WMP 11 and I am unable to adjust my video settings? Can anyone tell
me what I am doing wrong????

What steps have you tried so far ? Does it affect all videos or only
some types ? In general I think you should be able to adjust those
settings for DVD video and "windows media video", but not for most
other types (such as MPEG1, MPEG4 and many AVI videos).

I have checked all my default settings, etc...they are all correct. The
videos I am trying to adjust are all .wmv. The videos are actually my videos
that were downloaded from a Sony camcorder....would that make a difference?

Thank you for your assistance, I am so lost and I really need to be able to
adjust and edit these videos!!!!

The adjustments won't save no matter what. If you need to save the color
tweaks/edits you would want to use a movie editing program, not the player.
