In Windows Media Player ... is there a way to create an auto play-list
that will contain only songs never played?

It seems to me if I create an auto list that says "Date Last Played is
before 5 Years" I should get the songs that I have never played as
well as any that I have not played in the last 5. But, if I put that
criteria in my auto-list definition I get no songs.

I tried to manually change the .wpl file, but nothing I tried seemed
to work.

Or is there advanced search syntax that can give me the same thing?

One thing I realize I can do is sort by Last Played and get all those
never played at the top. But, I would like to listen to these in
random order (Shuffled)

Not a huge deal, but I think it would be a good feature to have (and
maybe it is already there... I just cannot figure it out).

A very simple solution is a playlist with criterium
Overall Playcount=0
