Hi,

I have WMP 11 running under VISTA Home Pro.

Until this morning all was fine. But suddenly I seem to have duplicates =
in my listings of virtually ALL my albums and songs (some 14,000!!). I =
have no idea how this happened, and I have not added or taken off any =
albums or songs.

Is there any way that I can refresh the listings so that I only get the =
one listing per song per album.

For example, I now get on John Lennon's Imagine a listing like this:

Imagine
Imagine
Crippled Inside
Crippled Inside
Jealous Guy
Jealous Guy

etc, etc.......

I really do not fancy deleting 14,000 titles manually!!!!!

Any help gratefully received.

Cheers

In WMP check folders, it looks like wmp has scanned the same collection
twice.

If all folder settings are ok (check also the rip folder setting)
- make a backup
- delete the folders using the option 'delete form library but NOT from
computer'
- do a rescan (monitor folders)
