When I try opening my windows media center I get this error message.

"Please set registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETFramework\InstallRoot
to point to the NET Framework Install location."

I don't know how to set the registry key to point to the install location. I
was hoping someone could tell me how. I have a Dell dimension 3000, Media
Center edition, Operating System is Microsoft Windows XP Professional. Thanks

To repair .Net Framework 2.0 on XP:

Open Control Panel

Select Add or Remove Programs

Locate Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0

Select the entry and when the installer launches, select Repair.

Reboot when it completes.
