Hi. An friend tried to install service pack 3 on an emachine. During
install, the computer locked up and the only way to turn off the machine was
by unplugging it. After reboot, the machine would not enter windows or
windows safe mode. My question is... Is there a way to access safe mode or
system restore through the windows install disk or a system disk.

1. What does this have to do with Media Center?

2. Why are letting friends install non-released software on your system?

3. Did you try booting from a Windows CD?

I just have one response to this...

1. Why are you such an idiot...
2. If you don't have an answer to the question asked... don't reply

Apparently then,

- Response # 1 applies to you, since it doesn't have to do with Media Center
and you continue to post in this group.

- You are too embarrassed to answer Question 2.

- You haven't tried my suggestion

- Based on your attitude, you don't really want help.

He worked hard to offend one of the major assets of this group - and
succeeded.
