I have an amd 4200+ Athlon 64 X2 with 2GB ram running windows XP MCE service
pack 3.

Every time I try to eject a usb device I recieve the following error: " An
exception occurred while trying to run "shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL
hotplug.dll" ". I can close windows explorer and remove the device (
usually a jump drive or usb hard drive) but I am worried about data loss.
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this situation? I would appreciate any
suggestions. Thanks

P.S. and yes I make sure I have closed out any programs running or accessing
the usb device before I try ejecting it.
