Very, very, VERY n00b question here...
I'm using Vista Home Premium Windows Media Center to watch Live TV, and now
for the first time, Scheduled Recording.

If I shut down WMC, but leave Vista running, will the Scheduled Recording
still work?
And if I can't shut down WMC for Scheduled Recording to work, do I need to
keep Live TV running also?

Cheers, Rex.

Media Center will run in the background handling recordings. It will even wake up from sleep & shut
down again the record a show.

Oh... so even if you close down WMC using the [X] (or via Tasks > Close) it
will still complete the Scheduled Recordings? That's pretty good.

It's services are still running in the background, no magic about it.
