running premium home build 6000, 2.80 gig amd 64 x2 dual core, asus
m2npv-vm1.xx bus clock 200 meg latest phoenix bios, 2014 meg mem
installednvidia geforce 6150 display adaptor, acr 22" monitor with Creative
sb Audigy 4 and Hauppauge win tv 350 card.
When I enter windows media center, screen goes black. Mouse button present.
I have tried clicking on mouse, nothing. I hit ctr alt del, and screen
brings taskmaster screen, click on tasks, they appear but flicker, and screen
stays black around them.
Sometimes media player screen will then come up, but will dissapear again if
I try to use system. All other video on system seems good, except when tuner
card plays tv, movement stutters like slow refresh rate. I think this is
from a lousy video card (chip), and I am installing a new card when it
arrives.
Help or suggestions for black screen. I reinstalled nvidia drivers and
latest model, and that did not seem to help at all.
