i have a gateway 816 gm 2004 edition my mce will work only for 10 secs then
the picture and audio will freeze can you help me i have a avermedia tv tuner
but i dont know what kind it is

Look at the Event Viewer to find out why it's happening.
Make sure you have updated TV tuner driver.

If your Gateway has a dual core AMD CPU it is likely that you need the AMD
X2 driver update which was issued in the summer of 2004 to resolve the issue
you are reporting but was not installed by Gateway in systems being shipped
till early 2005. Check the AMD Website for the updated driver.

Your processor (AMD Athlon? 64 3700+ processor)is not a dual core.And
that mentioned update fixes TV glitching on dual core AMD machines.
