I have a problem with my Epson printer not showing all of the printing
preferences dialogue box. Epson support said I have a corrupt font and need
to download a repalcement from the Internet. Can someone please tell me how
to go about doing that?!

At best you can repair the Font folder. To do this download and install
TweakUi.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Now run TweakUi.Click 'repair' option present in the left pane. Now from
the drop down menu present in the right pane select 'Repair Font
Folder'.Click 'Repair Now'.Finally click OK/Apply.

Hi

Unfortunately running TweakUi hasn;t fixed the problem. Is there no way of
downloading the font and replacing the corrupt one? Epson say it's the MS San
Serif font.

Hi

When the KB article says run setup again does it mean I have to reinstall
Windows? Or is there an option to repair Windows? I've only got the recovery
disc that came with the computer because Windows was pre-loaded.

I presume Epson are right to say the font is corrupt. Is there a way I can
check?
