Thinking of upgrading my video card - this one was recommended to me;

Sapphire ATI RADEON HD 3650 512MB DDR3 Dual DVI PCI-Express 2.0
Graphics Card

Basically looking for a reasonable choice to upgrade by ATI Radeon
x300 (non-hd) so that I can use my MCE to power an HDTV.

I am not looking for the absolute best technology - MCE is a HP 3 GHZ
hyper-thread intel and I only plan to spend about a grand on the HDTV
(probably plasma).

That card should be fine it has hardware acceleration of video decoding. It
will work with a 1080i or 1080P display, I have a HD2600XT and it is powerful
enough to display 1080P with Blu-Ray with very low CPU usage.
