Everytime I try to download an update or install a program I get a notice
saying "widows cannot open file MSND downloadhost windows needs to know
what program created it" even when its a windows update. Then it says I can
go on the web to a site to fix it, and I try that, but I end up with the same
message. So I'm going in circles.
Dell says they want to wipe the computer clean, but that sounds like a big
headache to me. Is ther another way to fix it? Thanks

I had the same problem more than a year ago, I don't remember the how to fix
the problem though. The quickest thing you can do to resolve it is call MSDN
support in the morning and they will assist you.
