MS and DirecTV have stated several times in the last couple of years that
DirecTV was going to offer a Vista tuner unit that could receive and decrypt
DirecTV broadcasts just like a DirecTV STB does. However, the product has
never showed up and may never show up.
Today with a DirecTV STB you can receive programs from them with a Vista
analog tuner using NTSC standard 480i SD and either the RF or S-video
interface just like you can with XP MCE.
