I have 2 machines both the same, running Vista and I use them both as DVR's.
If I go into 'Settings' I can add other locations that the system will search
for recorded TV , how do I tell it to search for files on the other maxhine?
I have tried mapping drives but the machine seems only to want to find files
if they are local.

Comment Please

You need to use the undocumented & unsupported feature of Watched Folders. This
can be achieved in two ways by editing the registry or by creating a symbolic
directory link to the remote Recorded TV folder. The latter needs to be shared
in either method.

For registry editing see the instructions here:-

For using symbolic links method see here:-
