Hi,

I'm trying to set up Media Center with Comcast using a Motorola DCH70
STB. I can do everything with the WMC remote except change channels.
One odd thing is when I use the Xbox 360 extender and use the remote
on my TV the guide/channels work fine with the remote. The IR sensor
is correctly placed over the STB sensor, but it still won't allow me
to change channels on the computer.

Any ideas/solutions appreciated.

Thanks!

Just to clarify.

Are you saying that if tell the Extender change channels, Media Center
correctly changes the channels on the STB, but if you are directly in front
of the Media Center PC, it does not change the channels?

Do the channels on the STB change correctly if you just use the keyboard
(not the remote)?

Is your Vista up to date with the last updates from Microsoft? I saw an
update for Vista that was supposed to update the IR codes (within the last 2
or 3 weeks), it is possible that your Moto cable box will be supported by
that update.
