Short of entering manually (which I have done), is it possible to tell
MediaCenter to record only one broadcast per day of a show. Fast Money and
Mad Money are two examples of shows that are broadcast multiple times per
day. This is a nice feature of Beyond TV but I have migrated to MediaCenter
because of its slicker Vista integration.

You can tell it to only record at a specific time, by editing the Series
Info. Other than that, unless the Guide has it flagged as a repeat, MCE
sees it as a new recording.

There is a "Anytime, once per day" option in Vista Media Center.
Click on the + or - next to the Airtime item.

Thanks for the help. It sure ain't easy to find but once you get there it
works. Maybe there is a better way - I had to go back after I scheduled a
series from the Guide and select the following: View Scheduled>Right Click
on Desired Show and Time>Program Info>Record Settings>Settings for the
Entire Series>Scroll to Airtime and select "around the correct time" and for
good measure set Show Type to "First Run". This works but I had to put if
done on paper so I could find my way back the next time. Am I missing
something?

Your described procedure sounds about right. I have browsed most menus quite
often, so I guess I have gotten used to it.
