Vanished folder

Hello, I'm looking for help. I have XP SP2 installed. No problems until
recently when a shared folder containing lots of pictures vanished from the
system. I've serached for them all on the PC and they are not shown when i
search the computer. I've checked all the individual accounts on the PC (6)
and they are not in deleted items (no one has cleared their deleted items for
a long time, long before I was last in the folder). The only change we've
recently made was having an X-Box on the network and logging on to X-Box
live. Anyone any ideas.

One of your users deleted it. Even could have been deleted from the Xbox.
When deleted from a share, recycle bin does not come into play. Next time
share it with read only permissions.
