Last night I setup my Xbox360 on my home network to connect to my pc and
share media. i have XP Media Center Edition 2005 and it has all the updates.
I went to the MS site and got my code number and downloaded the extender
software on the pc and all that but I am really limited as to what I can see.
In Windows Media Player on the pc I see a bunch of videos..but the only thing
I can see on the Xbox360 are pictures. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I
thought I'd be able to see anything I can see in Media Center on the Xbox but
it doesn't appear that way. I also can't see recorded TV which is really what
I'd want the most. Anybody? Help.

I'm in the same boat. I've made probably 15 - 20 different support calls to
both the xbox help line as well as the windows xp line. I can connect to all
video, pictures and audio that are setup in my media player 11 on my
computer, but cannot watch the recorded tv. When I try to "Connect to Media
Center PC", it just hangs saying "Connecting." I'm very frustrated too and
can't seem to resolve the issue through customer support.
