I am trying to do a System Restore, but even though I remember creating a
restore point less than a month ago, and my storage has over 20 GB of space
left, there is only one restore point for me to choose, and that restore
point is after a problem started that I am trying to fix. When I attempt to
restore to the point that I do have, the Restore constantly fails, saying
that a login process terminated. Is there any way I can complete a System
Restore successfully? Thank you very much.

You are more likely to find the right experts in a newsgroup for
windowsxp or windows.vista. When you post there tell them which version
of the OS you have...

And give some other details too - it will help them.
