I don't know if it's the computer or the XP. It was purchased this way
by an elderly relative who didn't know any better. The warranty ended
some time ago.
The sound volume has always been very low. I've gone into all the
properties of the control panel for sound, turned up all volume levels
on the audio settings, all to know avail.
I've also messed around with the wires and plugs in the back of the
computer itself.
Trust me, I've done everything; tutorials also.
Can anyone point me to a site, or anyone who has the reason for this?
It's really irritating when you have to put your head up to the
monitor screen to hear what's coming out of the speakers. The room has
to be almost completely quite to hear anything.
I would be so grateful if someone could please help me out. Thank you
in advance, and God bless.
