Hi everyone, how can I hook up my Sony Vaio CR Series to my Samsung Slim Fit
TXS TV? I wanted to download a movie and which it on my TV instead on my
laptop.

Thanks in Advance,
Ethel Mertz

Lucy, I'm home!!! <G>

Exactly what are you asking?? Does your PC and the TV have compatible
inputs/outputs? You need to compare the outputs of your display adapter to
see what type of output(s) it has. VGA, DVI, HDMI, S-Video and etc. Then
see if your PC has a compatible input. If so, and as long as the TV
functions well as a computer monitor, you should be good to go.

Since I have a S-Video "Port" on both my TV and Computer would I be able to
hear the sound of the movie from my TV?

You would have to have a separate audio input to your TV, which, since you
have S-Video, you should. You would need to come out of the PC's sound card
to connect to the RCA jacks on the TV. Depending on what type of connection
you have off your sound card, you may need a phono to RCA splitter. You
can pick these up at Radio Shack, and probably many computer/electronics
stores.
