We use Windows Server 2003 with XP workstations and roaming profiles. Is
there a way to delete a users cookies automatically upon logoff, block
cookies for all users via IE7 settings, or some other way to stop cookies
being saved to roaming users profiles on the local machine. It seems to be
causing some log-on issues.....sometimes taking users up to 8 minutes to log
on. As a test I deleted all cookies from a users profile and they were able
to log on within a few seconds. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Here's a suggestion: go to a newsgroup that deals with server issues,
where you have more hope of finding knowledgeable people.

They should rename this group to windows.offtopic, I would say almost half
the issues that are posted here have nothing to do with Media Center.

Exactly 46.1%.

Sorry, I couldn't resist an off-topic joke...

And in reality, I'm always off-topic, since I gave up on MCE a long
time ago. The few posts I make are in response to other OT posts,
either to suggest going to another group, or to give my idea of a
solution, or sometimes both.

I stopped using it about 4 months ago when I got a Comcast HD DVR, and let
me tell you, MCE reliability blows that thing out of the water, it's the
biggest piece of crap I've ever used.
