I have a genuine copy of Windows XP which came preinstalled when I purchased
my Compaq PC. Recently when the hard disk crashed, Win XP was reinstalled on
my PC by a computer technician. However, the Product Key used by the
technician is not genuine. I want to reinstall the genuine Product Key. Do I
have to reinstall Win XP? Will I lose all the data? Please clarify the
procedure.
