I'm ambidextrous, I'd like to run two independent mice with two independent
cursors on the same physical machine, XP or Vista OS. I've checked out MS
Multipoint but it's just for 3rd party apps. Does anyone know of any open
source or $$$ or M$ implementation of this within the OS itself?

There's that Windows 7 Multi Touch thing that is going to be part of the
next version of Windows.
I think you can use your two hands on the monitor and your third hand on the
mouse. :-)

The Windows 7 Multi Touch thing ... where have you heard about it? Do you
remember any links? The answer seems easy, it's just that there are too few
ambidextrous computer addicts to ask the question.

If you simply type "Windows 7 multi touch" in a search browser, you should
find plenty of web sites about this technology, including some video
demonstrating it in action.
I haven't seen it in action yet but it is probably a lot like Microsoft's
Surface technology.
