I had problems with media player (Windows Vista) when I wasplaying a movie.
There was no picture. Sound was okay. So, I deleted the media player and
wanted to download a new version. I went to Microsoft site and downloaded
wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe. During installation it gives me an error saying
I have the new version on my machine which is not true. I cannot install it.
I even searched for media player. None was found. Can anyone help me? Thank
you

Windows Media Player is an integrated part of Windows Vista, you can't
delete it,so I am womdering how did you delete it.

It seems you have to reinstall Windows Vista.
