I have been told by tech support for HP to contact Msoft and inquire about
this problem:
"Not giving specified environments to install any software". I''m trying to
install a replacement all-in-one after the first one crashed. 3 hours on the
phone with Tech Support with remote access for uninstalling the whole printer
file by file, then reinstalling it with the error quoted above.
I became frustrated waiting for phone support so here I am.
Any ideas out there? thanks so much

You'd probably get more assistance in a newsgroup for hardware or a
general group as this newsgroup is dedicated to Media Center. You
don't supply info on what version of Windows, whether a network
printer, local printer, workgroup, domain, etc. But your best bet is
probably escalating to the next level at HP.
