Check that you have sufficient free space on the hard drive. Windows XP
defragmenter program requires that you have at least 15 percent free space
for Defrag to completely and adequately defragment it. If you have an 80Gig
HDD this means you need about 11Gigs free for the program to work. If you
cannot create space by deleting unnecessary files you may have to upgrade to
a bigger HDD. If unsure how to do this contact a reputable computer repair
centre and ask how they can help you.
