Hello,

I would like to configure few keys of my laptop.

I need to key often few letters which are not on the keyboard: à , é , ì , ò
, ù , which are the 5 vowels with the accent â?? over each one.

Can you tell me on how to program just the keyboard or just the 5 keys to
have the vowels with the accent â?? over each one?

Ad example it would convenient to me if by keying: â??controlâ??, or alt ,or the
windows key, + â??aâ?? I would get â??àâ?? (the a with the accent over it).

Thank you very much for your help.

Character Map does this and is described in the Help and Support Center.

Instead of what you ask, I use and recommend a little freeware
background program called AllChars. This lets me type many common
special characters (many of these are used in other languages) by
pressing the ctrl key followed by a two character mnemonic
combination.

For example, for ñ the two characters are ~ and n. For ç it's c and ,
For ü it's u and "
