Strange windows problem

Hi

I am getting a strange problem in windows xp but cannot find any solution.

When I open a window 1 of 2 things is happening. Using either IE7 or Firefox
the graphics and text will suddenly start to zoom up, seemingly infinetly,
and nothing seems to stop this. If I go to a windows panel, my computer for
example, the list of items appear to physically shake and if I try and scroll
down the list of items it will jump back to the top of the list.

Anybody have anything similar?
