I have an old yahoo.com account, but when they started charging for
POP service I changed to gmail.com. Now every once in a while, I get
a message in my yahoo account that was sent to sbcglobal.net.

Can anyone tell me how this is possible. There is not a duplicate
message in my sbcglobal.net box. I'm using OE 6.

Thanks, joeZy

SBCGlobal is now AT&T and Yahoo handles all AT&T mail accounts, so ask your
ISP about this (I assume it's SBCGlobal/AT&T).

OE has nothing to do with it.

When you joined sbcglobal, did you merge your already existing yahoo
account and the new sbc account? And once you happen upon such an email,
can you fetch it via oe after opening it online via yahoo? I don't
recall the exact function of the old yahoo mail in terms of permitting
online read mail for fetching by oe, but if you did merge, it could be
possible that you catch an occasional sbcglobal email in the yahoo box,
and once it is read, it can't be fetched by oe from the server. If such
is the case, there may be a yahoo mail setting that can be changed. In
any event, the merger of the two accounts is the most likely cause of
what you see.

In addition to what the others have said, take a look at the message
headers. The Received headers may give a clue as to how the message got
there.
