When I receive an email, some character displays numbers instead of text, but when I save this email as HTML and open it, the numbers become text under Tradition Chinese XP.     - outlook express Had a power failure. Since then I have 5 emails in my inbox I cant do anything with.Everything else works fine.I cant delete. open move or anything these 5. When I try to open any of these my cpu goes to 100 % and I have to end task to get away from them. I cant delete even a bunch below and above and include these, bang!locks up back to end task. I have tried compacting. I can send mail, receive and everything as long as I stay away from these 5 emails.     - Not saving password Using Outlook Express 6 on WinXP Pro. Password on POP acct not being saved. Have read many threads and found Knowledge Base article on the problem. I have tried all of the options and all fail. The option to delete key from register doesn't work.     - Lost Group Addresses - Can I get them back ? I've really done it this time............. I was cleaning up my Outlook Express and accidentally deleted my sub-group addresses where I kept them filed by type. I didn't even realize I did it until I opened OE again and they were gone. I got a new cell phone which has PDA-Sync on it and in trying to bring across my contacts from Outlook Express, but it brought those "lost" contacts. Where can I find those lost group addresses and restore them so I can back them up and then try bring the 1st level contacts that I want on the cell phone.     - Sending email in Outlook Express I use XP Home and Outlook Express 6. Was with freeserve and segued thru to Orange. Recently problems started with email and I was advised to change my serveres from freeserve to orangehome. However, since then, outgoing mail has been a problem, only working occasionally.     - error 0x80004005 I have stopped receiving mail into my Outlook Express 6. I spoke with AT&T and updated all of my settings and that is not the problem.     - Sent Items folder - messages have gone! Hi I have a problem with my Sent Items folder. We had a power failure on Friday 2 May 2008 and ever since all messages in my Sent Items folder are no longer appearing in OE. The folder has completely emptied out. I have checked the store folder and can still see the original Sent Items.dbx file there. Now when I right click on Sent Items in my OE and view Properties, it says the files are stored in the following file: Sent Items (2).dbx This new Sent Items (2).dbx folder appears in my store folder and seems to be saving all my sent messages. You posted using Outlook Express so it's already installed.

Contact your ISP (AT&T/SBCGlobal) for instructions on how to configure your
mail account in OE.
