Hi everone i am new to this group in fact i am new to computers full
stop.I really do need help with a problem sending pic via email,i sent
an email to a magazine group who want to print it in there
magazine,they say it is to small and can i send it in larger
format,they mention sending it 300dpi jpg i know it is a jpg on my pc
and when i clicked properties it said 240dpi how can i send larger pic
or change it to 300dpi,please help many thanks Paul

Hi Paul,

If you have the original picture, then rescan the picture using 300 DPI
setting. And save it as a Jpeg File. Who has the original picture?

The dpi can only be reduced with a computer program.
You have to have the camera set to a higher dpi setting to get a higher dpi
picture.
Unless you reduced the size of the photo when you emailed it, the only way
to increase the size is by reducing the dpi.
