Does anyone have any suggestions on Simplifed Chinese Fonts in Outlook Express?
When I receive an email, some character displays numbers instead of text,
but when I save this email as HTML and open it, the numbers become text under
Tradition Chinese XP.
Does anyone have any suggestions why the simplifed chinese text become
numbers under Outlook Express?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
Eric

In Tools, Options, Read do you have Read All Messages in Plain Text
checked? If so either uncheck that or for a quick workaround for the
current message, press ALT+Shift+H

The other possibility is that you are overriding the encoding specified
in the message (Tools, Options, Read, International Settings). In that
case you can try View, Encoding and select Simplified Chinese

Thank everyone very much for suggestions
I have tried all Encoding for Simplifed Chinese Fonts, but none is working
to display the text. Is XP missing those Fonts? therefore Outlook Express
cannnot display properly?
Thank you very much for any suggestions

Thank everyone very much for suggestions
In Tools, Options, Read, the option for Read All Messages in Plain Text is
unchecked, and I have tried pressing ALT+Shift+H too, but the text problem
still cannot be solved.
Do you have any more suggestions?
Thank you very much for any suggestions

You mentioned that if you save the Message as HTML, it displays OK. Is
that being done on the same PC? If so, then you have the fonts.
