All of a sudden I am receiving emails that should be in HTML format but are
displayed as text.
A link is displayed on the page that lets me see it in HTML as intended.
This has happened with two different senders.
One email even said that "Unfortunately, your email client cannot display
HTML or your
settings are turned off."

I know how to set OE to send email as HTML but how do I reset it to display
incoming mail as it was sent?

Tools | Options | Read. Uncheck: Read all messages in Plain Text,
