Hyper Link in OE6 Doesn't open IE7

IE7: 7.0.5.730.11
OE6: 6.00.2900.2180
XP Home SP2

I recently installed Firefox and made it the default browser. Today I
switched back to using IE7 as the default browser. All is well except that
now when I click on a hyper link in OE it does not open IE and take me to
the selected web page. Please help restore this functionality. Thanks.

1. [Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs >] Set Program Access and Defaults >
Configuration that's already checked > Browser: Select "Internet Explorer"
