Hi there,

Is there a way in the registry (or GPO, but I haven't seen one) to adjust
the size of IE 7's Temporary Internet Files (cache) setting?

Since upgrading to IE7, the default cache size for all users on a terminal
server has defaulted to 1024mb. I'd like it to be no more than 50mb, as it's
eating up way too much disk space. I've adjusted the settings in the default
profile but can't seem to find a way to adjust it automatically for existing
users.

Thanks,
Sir_Timbit

Hi,
This is the registry setting for a cache size of 50 MB in Vista and XP:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings\5.0\Cache\Content

DWORD CacheLimit 0x0000c800 (51200)

Please verify that by setting one machine to 50 MB and checking that key.

Hope this helps,
Don
