Running ie7 under vista with all available updates applied. I have the
classic menu bar hidden. Sporadically I experience instances where the menu
bar unhides, the file menu is selected and the menu bar is re-hidden. This
can happen once or begin to occurr rapid fire until I have to close IE
because IE becomes unresponsive. I have disabled all loaded add-ons without
success. It doesn't appear to matter what application is running or has run
that I can pinpoint. The only way I have been able to resolve is to re-boot
my machine. I have seen postings in other discussion groups (not this one)
where others are experiencing this issue. Any suggestions on where else to
look? Any registry suggestions? Any help is appreciated.

Malicious software such as viruses or spyware could be installed on your
computer.

I have OneCare installed. Has been installed since I purchased the machine.
Have run many scans and have not encountered a virus. Any other suggestions?
