google toolbar

i'm trying to install google toolbar .
it goes through the install , tells me to restart
I.E. and when i do , there is no toolbar .
i've tried disabling my a/v but that did not
work .

As a start, right-click on a toolbar/menubar row, or use the View ->
Toolbars menu.

i've been there and the " google "
option is there but it's grayed
out .

google was in add-ons , disabled !
i probably did it myself .

I can get google tool bar installed but it slows loading IE to a crawl--
been having this for a few weeks ---
as soon as I uninstall tool bar all is normal
Please help
