When I visit certain sites I get a msg saying that I need to install a Flash
player but for other sites my flash player works just fine. I've
uninsstalled and reinstalled the player but the same thing is still
happening. Can anyone help? My OS is Windows XP Home SP2, browser is IE7
and I have Flash 9.0.

Hi,

It's difficult to know from the information you've provided whether you are
have a general Flash install failure or whether you are visiting a site that
needs to update their Flash detection JavaScript.

If you've already uninstalled and reinstalled the Flash Player per the
instructions posted by Gistcheckin, then please post a link to the site in
question so it can be ascertained if the problem is with the Flash detection
JavaScript at that particular site.

Good luck,

Donald Anadell
