error displaying some web pages

hi,,,i have been using the internet explorer 6 on windows vista which was
working properly until i encountered a strange problem with some sites such
as hotmail and facebook......the problem that when i sign into my hotmail
account the page which should be displayed normally is bizarrely changed i
thought at first it is a problem in the hotmail site itself but when i
downloaded the firefox web browser the problem didnt occur,,the page on
internet explorer is not well organized , the fonts are not well shown ,, and
some links are not responding....the same happened in facebook website ,,,i
am using now firefox browser but i hope to use internet explorer again
because it is much more better,,,,,by the way i have downloaded the updates
for internet explorer but the problem is not changed.
hope you can solve the problem for me .

You mean IE7, right?
With the warning that a reset will delete autocomplete data, such as
passwords and you will have to reinstall browser add-ons, work through this
