ok, this question might've been asked many times before but i still cant find
an answer.
I have autocomplete to save froms, passwords and usernames and addresses in
tools in IE7.
when i go back to a page where i logged in before, enter my username, the
password field remains empty, it does not autocomplete it. why is that?

is there a way i can find my hidden passwords that logged in with?

thank you for your help!

Hi,
Windows XP or Vista? (Might or might not matter.)

IE PassView- NirSoft:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/internet_explorer_password.html Will display
stored login data and allow you to delete selected usernames and passwords.
You might try deleting data for a site to see if that resets the "Save"
prompt.

More (for XP)
Protected Storage - Save Password issues:
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/ProtectedStorage.htm

Hope this helps,
Don

Many HTTPS sites do not let IE save the password.
