Ok. So I know nothing about computers and maybe this is an easy fix but, My
comp keeps telling me I need to download the service pack 1. However, when i
go to download it it tells me i need to be running internet explorer 7. Then
when i go to the download page for explorer 7 it tells me i am already
running it....grrrrr? So i go to windows update to download from there, but i
can only find downloads that tell me not to download if im only downloading
to one computer....what in earth am i supposed to do, it keeps going around
in circles? I currently run windows vista and obviously explorer 7. SP1 is
not available in my updates nor has it been in my auto updates.

Windows Vista comes with SP1. Please ensure on the box/package Vista SP1 is
not already installed. Select Windows Update and choose custom installation
which allows you to pick the updates and installation you desire.
