this morning I could go to HTTPS websites. my wife was online and tried to
go to a HTTPS site. a notification popped up and she just selected "deny"..i
do not know what the notification was. now we can not access HTTPS sites.
HTTP sites work ok. i have tried various security settings and nothiing
works. i use trend-micro antivirus sofware. when the wife selected "deny"
something got set. does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Do you have a third-party firewall? They often use terms like 'deny' -
as in 'deny internet access'.
