IE7 Suddenly stopped working.
I think I chose "deny" when a security question popped up (very unusual when
loading IE7) and I clicked "deny" instead of "allow" by mistake.

I have tried to find out how to reverse this.
I. I did a Restore System
2. I downloaded and installed IE7
3 I put my security parameters back to the default,

IE7 still doesn't work.

Connection is OK
Another computer in the house, using the same ADSL connection is able to get
IE7 without a problem.

How can I get IE7 back again?

Try disabling your Add-ins. If it works then you can add them back in one
by one to see which one is causing the problems.

Full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1)?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed? What
anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewall
(if any)?

Hi,
Microsoft/Windows/Internet Explorer updates have been delivered via
automatic update the last couple of days. It's possible that updated IE
files made IE7 look like a new program and your third-party firewall asked
if it should be allowed to connect to the internet. You answered no.

Check settings of your third-party firewall. Make sure that IE7/iexplore.exe
is allowed to connect.

See:
942818- Error message after you install a Windows IE7 update:

Hope this helps,
Don

Yes, I think that is what happened.
I am using Trendmicro Internet Security software.
Their website for email support won't come up at the moment but I will try
again tomorrow.

Thanks for your help.

Problem solved!
With the help of the friendly folks at Trend Micro I have now restored
access to IE7.

Thanks for your help.
